First it was just a little autumn trend but it’s turning into a tsunami. The number of celebrities going for darker hair for winter just keeps on rising, and the latest to join the caramel clan is TOWIE’s Amber Turner.
The reality TV star has said goodbye to the trademark long blonde tresses that were such a feature of her summer Instagram snaps from Morocco, the Dominican Republic and Ibiza, and hello to something a little more sophisticated. Enter this beautiful “bronde” with vanilla latte highlights. And who doesn’t love warming up with a vanilla latte now the mornings are so chilly?
“What do we all think?” asked Amber, and honestly? We love it! The shade is a gloriously grown up breath of fresh air for her. And her followers were quick to agree.
“This is definitely the best your hair has ever looked,” gushed one, with another adding, “I love it, it’s so rich and warm on your skin.” General consensus was that the colour looks healthier, more natural and more luxurious than her previous blonde.
The style is super-long, reaching right down to her waist, and was styled in a glossy straight blow dry with just a little natural kick of movement and curl around the ends. She also has two face-framing sections of lightly highlighted blonde at the front, layered to collarbone level. And we can’t believe the unbelievable shine she’s got going on.
Amber’s new look is credited to her “dream team”: colour by Billy Evans and extensions by Jack Kenneally, and Amber has kindly shared the exact extensions that were used: 22 inch weft and tapes in Vanilla Latte from Bellami Professional, so you can get the look yourself. However, they are professional extensions so this isn’t one to try yourself in the bedroom.
Swapping brassy for classy is a popular move at the moment. Liberty Poole, Kim Kardashian, Margot Robbie and Sydney Sweeney have all added warmth to their blonde tresses. Meanwhile there’s also an ice trend going on too, with Tulisa from N-Dubz and Molly-Mae Hague both recently embracing their inner Elsas. Big mug of coffee or queen of Frozen? You decide.
