Boots is back with its £10 Tuesday promotion, and today's offers are better than ever perfect timing for post-payday splurging. As the name helpfully suggests, every Tuesday Boots selects a number of products to run a £10 promotion on. The cost saving per item depends on its starting price, but typically you save between 40%-75% on the usual RRPs of items.

Skincare is the top beauty category frequently highlighted in the £10 promotion, but you can also get great deals across beauty tech, dental, grooming, bath and body, and cosmetics. Today, we've got one haircare buy in particular added to our Boots shopping basket: L'Oreal Paris Elvive's Glycolic Gloss 5-Minute Lamination Treatment, now £10 here (reduced from £15.99).

Directly inspired by expert colour glossing solutions, and unlike any classical hair mask, the formula is powered with glycolic acid, which penetrates more easily and effectively between cuticles. The end result is improved shine, smoothness and strand strength.

This added shine also lasts for up to five washes, mimicking the results often reserved for in-salon treatments. Better yet, it gets to work in five minutes, so you just need to shampoo your hair then let this treatment sink into mid-lengths and ends while you go about the rest of your in-shower chores.

Our head of beauty Zoe says:

"I have very straight, fluffy hair that sits quite flat and gets greasy very quickly. I was a little concerned that the treatment would leave too much residue, meaning I'd have to wash my hair the next day. However, I'm pleased to report it left my roots feeling fresh and my mid-lengths to ends feeling incredibly soft and swishy."

"The after photo I'm showing you here is my hair after it was blow-dried with a brush. Incredibly, even though it looks like I used heated straighteners on it, I didn't. This is such a bonus for me as I really try to keep my heat usage down, being a bleach blonde with strands prone to damage and breakage."

"I can personally vouch for the treatment working on straight hair, but I did have a quick scan of the Boots reviews to make sure those with curlier and coarser hair types love it as much as I do."

One Boots shopper with curly hair notes: "I've really noticed a difference with this range as my hair feels a lot smoother and manageable after use, especially since I have very frizzy hair with dry ends. It's great for all hair types as I use it when my hair is naturally wavy or heat-styled to be straight / curled. I would highly recommend."
