British Beauty Council has revealed its first seven ambassadors to raise awareness of the Council’s work globally.
The new cohort of ambassadors were revealed at the British Beauty Council’s Value of Beauty 2023.
The ambassadors are:

Mary Greenwell
Dr Ateh Jewel
Marcia Kilgore
Kathy Phillips
Caroline Hirons
Bobbi Brown
The organisation has appointed seven ambassadors, due to their global influence to increase engagement with the Council’s work on an international scale.
Bobbi Brown, acclaimed make-up artist, has been appointed as the Council’s first US ambassador and will join the Council to “support and grow brands and beauty experts (she) believes in”.
“I’m excited to work with Millie and the team at the Council to see how this role can make a difference to the British Beauty industry on a global scale,” comments Bobbi Brown.
“Plus, I am a total anglophile – I love the cool aesthetic of British design and British beauty so this is set to be a really exciting partnership.”
“Having been an Advisory Board member since 2018, I am delighted to have the opportunity to become one of the first British Beauty Council Ambassadors and to take on this increased responsibility,” adds Caroline Hirons.
“I will continue to work with the organisation to establish and maintain beauty industry standards and positioning across the UK and overseas. The beauty industry is one of the most dynamic, inclusive and profitable in the world and I look forward to working with the Council to showcase and elevate every facet it has to offer.”
