Celeb-loved beauty brand REFY has finally launched its hotly anticipated sculpting mascara, and it’s safe to say we’re already obsessed. The Lash Sculpt, £20 here, has been two years in the making, and is said to be unlike any mascara you’ve tried before.

In fact, it doesn’t describe itself as a mascara at all. “This is not a mascara, this is Lash Sculpt” the product description says, with the product actually being a new tinted eye product that lifts, lengthens and separates lashes for a high-impact finish, creating a sculpted, lifted, lengthened lash effect that lasts for up to 12 hours.

REFY just launched its brand new Lash Sculpt

REFY has made quite a name for itself over the last few years as one of the beauty brands that countless celebrities have in their permanent makeup rotation. Bella Hadid is known to love its Brow Sculpt, £16 here, whilst Sofia Richie routinely wears its Lip Blush, £16 here, in her clean beauty looks.

The new not-mascara-mascara has taken inspiration from some of the brand’s best-sellers and contains a duo of waxes that are also found in Bella’s go-to Brow Sculpt to help set and seal your brow hairs. Lash Sculpt, on the other hand, uses those waxes to help sculpt and set your lashes and keep them in place all day.

It’s also infused with ingredients to help nourish and strengthen the lash, while boosting natural shine for a healthy looking finish. The formula includes carnauba and candelilla wax which helps to sculpt the lash to hold and lift, vitamin E/tocopheryl acetate that nourish lashes, and panthenol to strengthen and boost shine.

It also has a non-transfer, pigmented colour payoff that won’t flake or smudge, and the unique curved, wand-like comb applicator helps to target each individual lash, separating them and adding length without clumping. To get the best results, comb the wand through your lashes from root to tip, using the short bristles to coat your inner lashes and the longer ones for your outer ones.

The Lash Sculpt has a curved wand that fits the shape of almost any eye

The Lash Sculpt officially launched yesterday (February 21), and although it hasn’t received any reviews yet, we couldn’t wait to try it out and let our OK! readers know what we think. Fashion Assistant Brittany Davy said: “I don’t have long lashes at all so I was really sceptical about trying this product.

“However, even after one application I could see a difference in the lift of my lashes. I also love that it’s not a mascara as I always opt for a natural finish makeup look, and this is the perfect balance between a long-lasting lift that shapes the lashes that also gives the illusion of a real lash. Not to mention the curve applicator makes it so easy to apply without smudging the product all over my eyelids. If you’re looking for an at-home DIY lash lift I’d definitely recommend giving this a try.”

The product separates, sculpts, tints and defines your lashes

One of our other go-to sculpting mascaras is Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Sculpt Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara, and you can snap up the deluxe size for £14 here, or get the full size version for £18.20 here (was £26). It’s packed with biotin to support strong, healthy-looking lashes and peptides to enhance the appearance of lash length and fullness, and has a fluted and tapered wand to separate lashes and ensure each and every one is coated.

But if you’re eager to try out REFY’s new Lash Sculpt, you can shop it for £20 here. We have been eagerly waiting two years for it, after all.
