It’s no secret that planning a wedding can be one of the most stressful (and enjoyable) times of your life, with decisions needed to be made about everything from your flowers and food to exactly what you’re going to wear. Picking your dress is undoubtedly one of the biggest tasks on your list, and once that’s done you’ll need to choose everything from your accessories and shoes to your beauty regime to go along with it.

One thing that often gets overlooked, though, is your choice of wedding perfume. Smell is one of the best ways to trigger memories and nostalgia, so picking a scent that’s completely unique to your wedding day is a great way to remember the feeling of the day long after it's over.

Escentual.com Campaigns and PR Editor Ceryn Askins said: "We are already starting to see an increase in customer enquiries for ‘wedding perfume’ and last year traffic doubled from April to July for brides and guests looking for the perfect fragrance for the big day. We find that floral fragrances are generally the most popular as a wedding choice and that certainly was the case for the majority of our best selling famous perfumes."

If you’re looking for a new fragrance to mark the occasion but aren’t sure where to start, we’ve rounded up some of the most famous wedding day perfumes worn by celebrities like Kate Moss and Sofia Richie, and Royals including Princess Diana and Kate Middleton to give you a little bit of inspiration.
