If you’ve ever found yourself wishing your matte foundation had just a little bit more glow or that your dewy base left you looking a little less… shiny, then you’re going to want to get your hands on H&M’s latest beauty launch. The high street retailer has just dropped its brand new Skin-Perfecting Foundation, £12.99 here, which combines a matte finish with a subtle luminous glow.

The skincare-meets-makeup foundation is similar to the celeb-loved NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, £32.30 here (was £38), and is perfect for times when you want your base to look just like your skin but better – something very few foundations have been able to master.

H&M's new Skin-Perfecting Foundation gives a glowy matte finish

Just like the NARS version, H&M’s new foundation contains hyaluronic acid which not only hydrates your skin but locks it in, for an added boost of moisture that leaves your skin looking plump and smooth. The Skin-Perfecting foundation has a lightweight, long-wearing coverage that helps even out your skin tone and texture for a natural-looking enhanced base.

Although you can keep it semi-sheer, the formula is also buildable so you can increase the coverage to suit your skin’s needs and cover up any blemishes or discolouration. It’s also suitable for all skin types, so whether you’re dry, oily, or a combination of the two, you can still make the most of its glow-enhancing formula.

The new foundation comes in a range of 25 shades

H&M’s new foundation comes in a choice of 25 different shades compared to NARS’ 39, and it has to be said it doesn’t currently have many options when it comes to darker skin tones. If you can’t find the right shade for you, NUDESTIX Tinted Cover Foundation, £32 here, has a better diversity of shades to choose from whilst still having the same weightless, second-skin finish.

The NUDESTIX foundation acts as a skin blurrer and has a cream to powder formula that leaves your skin looking freshly airbrushed. It’s also packed full of Korean skincare-inspired ingredients to nourish and boost your skin while you wear it.

NUDESTIX Tinted Cover Foundation has a broader shade range

If you prefer to stick to a more budget-friendly price tag, Revolution’s new Skin Silk Serum Foundation, £10.99 here, is enriched with hyaluronic and peptide complex to plump and hydrate your complexion, and offers a light to medium coverage. It’s also available in 20 different shades with a broad spectrum of skin tones catered to.

The foundation is said to blur imperfections and leave your skin with a healthy glow, all whilst still looking natural and glowy. It’s also suitable for all skin types, and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and plump long after you take it off.
