Holly Willoughby has teased fans with an exciting career announcement. The former This Morning star took to Instagram on Thursday, May 23 to tell her 8.4million followers that she would be going live on the social media platform to reveal all later that day.

Holly, 43, looked stunning in the clip, as she filmed herself saying: "I just wanted to give you a little heads up that at 5.30pm today I am going to be back on here with my friends at Beauty Pie and I've got something to share with you.

"So 5.30pm today, I will be live and if you can't make it, I will put the post on my grid – I'll work out how to do that – but come and join me, it'd be lovely to see you there."

It comes as the mum of three has released her second beauty edit in collaboration with viral skincare brand Beauty Pie, the On-The-Glow Edit. The ultimate grab-and-go collection, this beauty edit is designed to help you achieve gorgeous ‘no-mirror-makeup’ looks on the go, featuring Holly's latest Beauty Pie favourites for lips, cheeks and lashes, which BP members can snap up for just £55.

Holly has a new edit with Beauty Pie

Holly’s hand-picked edit of summery essentials in a chic silver travel case, similar to these popular ones from Space NK. The hotly-anticipated set comes in the wake of Holly’s first Beauty Pie collaboration – the Holly-Day Edit, which last year received high praise from shoppers who coined it ‘a great bag of tricks!’ and 'perfect for summer'.

Holly's latest career move comes after the news that she's set to go head-to-head with This Morning host Cat Deeley in the race for Best TV Presenter at this year's National Television Awards.

The nominations were revealed on Tuesday morning and both daytime chat show queens quickly eyed up their competition for the public vote that will eventually decide the winner of the prestigious accolade in September.

Holly stepped back from presenting This Morning last year

This unexpected clash comes after Holly was seen saying goodbye to her role on ITV's cherished morning programme. It was only eight months ago in October 2023 when she bid farewell after sharing the screen with Phillip Schofield for over a decade.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Holly addressed her fans: "I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning.

In a heartfelt message to her co-workers, she added: "To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much. This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we've done together."

She continued her words of gratitude: "Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive. To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you. Most of all, thank you to the wonderful viewers."
