Spraying on one of the best summer fragrances is a great way to feel closer to the warmer months ahead. Affordably priced and wonderfully gourmand, Sol de Janeiro's Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62, £24 here, will evoke memories of balmy days in the sun, without breaking the bank.
The brand first launched in 2015, bringing us its Brazilian-inspired Bum Bum Cream, £21 here, which is now a cult favourite. It's one of the most gorgeous-smelling body lotions on the market, delightfully-presented in bright tub, and promises firmer skin – as well as a hint of shimmer. While I love the fast-absorbing formula, it's the beautiful scent that keeps me coming back to buy more. So you can imagine my excitement when discovering the perfume mist that smells exactly like it.
I've been wearing the fragrance for four years now and, while there are many other summery scents on my dresser, it is my go-to for hot weather. The notes are pistachio, almond, heliotrope, jasmine petals, vanilla, salted caramel and sandalwood. It can't be any dreamier.

The £24 mist has now racked up millions of views on TikTok, with many raving about how "exotic" it smells. I appreciate how easy the 90ml bottle is to stash away in a tote, backpack or beach bag, but that's not all. The fragrance is sweet without being overwhelming, can be layered over different products with the same scent and makes it easy to pretend that I'm on a beach.
However, I don't find Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62 very long-lasting, so you will probably need a little top-up throughout the day. Several shoppers have taken to the Boots website to share their thoughts.
In one five-star review, someone said: "This always fishes me a compliment from anyone within my proximity. I always spray some on before going out with friends or family. It's a great scent! Very exotic in a good way!!"
Another raved: "I never thought I would see the day a body spray would replace my Chanel Perfume. I don't think a day has gone by when I'm wearing this and do not receive a compliment…from both men and women."
But some complained the perfume mist didn't last longer than a few hours, while others weren't happy with its price. This isn't the only Sol De Janeiro scent available to buy.
Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 68 is a tropical-inspired floral with notes of Brazilian jasmine and pink dragonfruit, while Cheirosa 40 is a delicate fragrance with hints of black amber plum, vanilla woods and jasmine blooms. Both of these mists are available at Boots, for £24.
Another summery fragrance we love is Kayali's Eden Sparkling Lychee Eau de Parfum, from £25 here. It's bursting with notes of fruits and flowers. Alternatively, Lookfantastic has a wide range of fragrances.
