It IS beginning to look a lot like Christmas and nowhere more so than in Jennifer Lopez Land, where the star has been posing for an amazing red-themed photo shoot. We’re so used to seeing JLo with her signature glossy nude lips, it was a real treat to see the change up to this feast of festiveness. Posing in an all-red outfit with some very cool oversize sunglasses, the singer looked totally ready for the party season. And she whipped off the sunnies at the end to give us a close up view of her ultra glam make-up.
She had coupled the festive lip colour with a really classic party eye, with a pinky bronze smokiness on the upper lid, blending down to a pale golden sparkle that extended into the inner corners of her eyes and lightly out along the lower lash line.
The eye make-up was framed with some seriously lengthening and volumising false lashes, and a bold, thick and defined brow. Crediting that JLo glow to her own JLo Beauty range, the star gave no other clues to who had created the look for her, or what products they had used. Her beauty range is currently skincare only, but could this be a hint of things to come from it? If you do want to recreate the look yourself, we’ve got a few insider ideas.
Jen’s red lip isn’t a true or a vampy red – it has a slightly corally undertone to it, which we think you could recreate pretty accurately with NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Famous Red, £22 here. It’s worth overlining your lips slightly as red always looks better on a fuller lip (unless you’re incredibly naturally blessed, of course).

JLo posted the feast of festiveness to her Instagram account and fans were blown away by the post, with many commenting on how she rocked the red. “Holy moly. How red suits well on you. You just look so stunning as always, queen. Merry Christmas in advance,” said one. Another summed it up with, “D**n girl, you own RED!”
Red jacket, red trousers, red boots, red belt, red sunglasses, red lippy…of course the look was completed with a red handbag, and oh what a covetable piece it is. In quilted leather with gold buckle and stud detail in a diamond pattern, it was also personalised with her name printed in large white letters on the front flap. Want one?
