When a beauty product has been given the Royal approval, we’re pretty confident it’s going to be good, and Kate Middleton's go-to buy for fluttery lashes is on sale at Boots right now.
Usually setting you back nearly £30, the Lancôme Hypnose Mascara is certainly not the cheapest, however you can grab it for just £19 in Boots' £10 off premium beauty sale which sees favourites from Lancôme, YSL, Armani, IT Cosmetics and many more luxury brands discounted.
Boasting a handy applicator that thickens from root to tip, it provides both length and volume giving you that false lash effect. The formula is also waterproof to stop any smudging, so you won’t have to worry about panda eyes after a long day.

Rumour has it that Princess Kate even used the mascara on her own wedding day to create her iconic smokey eye look – so if it’s good enough for a Royal wedding, it’s good enough for us.
The great thing about the product is that it’s super buildable, so you can apply one coat for a natural look during the day or add more to recreate Kate’s trademark smokey eyes for the evening.
The Princess of Wales isn't the only one to swear by the Lancôme Hypnose Mascara, as it has plenty of glowing reviews on Boots from beauty fans who call it “the best mascara ever” and “great for volume.”
One delighted customer said: “I love this mascara. It elongates your lashes while separating them rather than clogging them.”
A second added: “Great brush and a lovely mascara. Doesn’t flake or clump and makes my lashes look longer and lasts for ages.”
While a third shopper wrote: “Love this, never Smudges and lasts all day! I have hardly any eyelashes and this product makes them look thick and full.”

Not everyone is a fan of the beauty buy though as some shoppers found it gave ‘little volume’ and is ‘hard to remove’ due to it being waterproof. One customer said: “Not as good as the original Hypnose which I've used for years. Not much volume for sparse lashes and feels a bit spiky. Lasts well but the downside is it feels like a waterproof mascara and is very hard to remove.”
If you’re looking for a mascara that’s significantly cheaper and not waterproof, thousands of beauty fans swear by Maybelline’s Sky High Mascara which is currently on sale for £6.66 down from £12.99.
