Kirsty Meakin launches nail-inspired jewellery collection
Nail artist & influencer, Kirsty Meakin has teamed up with goldsmith, Mark Lloyd to launch a limited edition jewellery brand, named Kirsty Meakin X Mark Lloyd.
The first piece to be announced is a bespoke sterling silver nail-curved pendant which is laser inscribed with Kirsty’s skull logo on the front and the brand’s name on the reverse.
Sold on an 18″ curb chain, only 100 pendants will be made in the first batch, laser marked and numbered to certify your purchase.
“Once they’re gone they’re gone. We may make more.. we may not… we may make something else entirely!” reveals Mark Lloyd.
The pieces were oxidised to enhance the look of the product, and hallmarked by the Goldsmiths Hall assay office in London.
This collaboration comes after Kirsty’s business partner and friend, Adam, worked with Mark Lloyd on a bespoke pair of earrings, shaped like Kirsty’s gel polish bottles from her range as a birthday gift for her. This led to excitement from the public and the idea to launch a jewellery collection was born.
“Kirsty and I wanted to make sure that our products were handcrafted in precious metal. We wanted to offer a premium product,” adds Mark.
The nail pendant is available to pre-order now and stocks will be ready early 2023.
The rest of the collection is still on the prototype stage and will be revealed imminently.
