Belle Hassan ditches her signature pink hair in favour of an all over chocolate brown shade in her latest hairstyle switch up.

The former Love Island star’s previous look featured two money pieces at the front of her hair, which she had dyed a vibrant pink colour. The style has been a major trend for the past year, and involves lightening two narrow strips at the front of your hair to frame your face.

Although plenty of people choose to leave the bleached sections blonde, others took advantage of the lighter shade and experimented with bright colours, including Belle Hassan, who chose to dye her lightened locks a vibrant bubblegum pink shade.

Belle has stuck with the look for the last three months, but decided now was time for a dramatic change as she headed to the Hadley Yates salon in London for a total hair refresh.

Belle also had thick curtain bangs cut into her hair

The makeup artist shared an Instagram story of her en route to the salon, writing: “Time to change the hair wish me luck” with a shocked emoji, before sharing a behind the scenes clip of her getting her hair washed at the salon saying: “It’s happeninggggg”.

After leaving her followers in suspense all day, Belle finally showed off her new hair, revealing that she’d ditched the lightened money pieces altogether in favour of an all over dark, cool-toned brunette shade.

Belle had previously had shocking pink money pieces at the front of her hair

The transformation didn’t stop there though; her new colour was teamed with thick, voluminous curtain bangs that blend into her face-framing layers, and feature several shorter feathered locks in the middle which almost give the illusion of a full fringe.

Captioning the photo: “Finally on the dark side baby” with a clapping emoji, Belle tagged her hair stylist, Georgina Hamilton-Hopkins, a colourist who works at the Hadley Yates salon. Georgina was the colourist behind Belle’s original pink money piece style, and also boasts several other impressive celebrity clients, including Vogue Williams and Carol Vorderman.

Belle’s new colour is a dark chocolate brown with cool undertones, which compliment her tanned skin perfectly. The MUA recently shared a video on her Instagram where she reveals the secret to her shiny hair is the Glaze Clear Conditioning Gloss, £15.99 here, which she applies to her hair to help keep it shiny and sleek despite frequent colourings.
