When it comes to skincare, we’re all too familiar with the multi-step routine we have to do to keep our skin hydrated, glowing and youthful-looking. However, some days we would love nothing more than a low-maintenance, zero-effort regime that we could do with our eyes shut.
Thankfully, Love Island All Stars constant Georgia Harrison has shared her love for a product that does exactly that, working its magic overnight while you sleep, so you wake up with brighter looking skin with absolutely zero effort required.
It might sound too good to be true – we’ll admit we were sceptical too – but the Boots Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask, £5 here, has plenty of glowing reviews (pun intended) from shoppers who said it left their skin looking brighter after using it.
The Boots Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask, £5 here, is packed full of vitamin C which is known for brightening your skin and creating a more even skin tone, and promises to leave you with brighter, more radiant skin in as little as 14 days.
To use the mask, you simply apply it evenly across your face and neck in the evening after you’ve used your go-to serum. Once it’s fully absorbed into your skin you can get yourself into bed without rinsing it off, and leave it overnight to work its magic.
Vitamin C can be a little harsh on particularly sensitive skin, although the addition of YUZU to the ingredients list means the Boots mask should be suitable for all skin types. However, avoid putting it on broken or already irritated skin, and as with any skincare product if you get any type of rash or reaction it’s best to stop using it to avoid damaging your skin barrier.
If you prefer something that’ll work its magic during the day, rather than at night, Garnier’s Vitamin C Brightening Day Cream Face Moisturiser, £9.99 here, has also got plenty of rave reviews over on LookFantastic from shoppers saying how well it brightens their skin as well as smelling fantastic.
The budget-friendly Boots Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask, £5 here, has been racking up plenty of great reviews from shoppers, with one saying: “Brilliant range of vitamin c skin care. Menopause has not been kind and this is really helping. Definitely recommend but stick with it. I’m using almost a year and long term it works. Don’t give up after a few weeks or months.”
Another wrote: “Love vitamin C range. Not a heavy sleep mask. Works wonders. I can see the change in my skin.” whilst a third added: “Seems nice and my skin does feel brighter when I use it, smells divine WITHOUT smelling chemically, just smells of oranges.”
A fourth said: “I’ve had expensive face creams before, but this one is light and refreshing and great value for money. Highly recommend it.”
Minimal effort for maximum reward? That’s definitely a skincare routine we can get on board with.
