Boots No7 range is a big hit with shoppers of all ages, so when there’s a multi-use product that helps with everything from smoothing wrinkles to making your makeup last longer, you best believe people are going to talk about it.

The current No7 must hast have beauty buy is the No7 Instant Illusions Airbrush Away Primer, £16.15 here. The primer was designed to help give you flawless looking skin, and make sure your makeup applies perfectly every time, with plenty of reviewers admitting they also use it as a moisturiser rather than just a primer.

Although Boots recommend using the product after you’ve already applied moisturiser and specifically focusing on any areas that show signs of ageing, one 60-year-old shopper explained how her 84-year-old mum uses the primer as a moisturiser, and is blown away by how it makes 'fine lines disappear on application'.

The primer works to eliminate the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and skin texture and put your skin into ‘soft fous’, whilst also giving your makeup a base to stick to which helps it apply better and last longer, as well as meaning you need to use less of it when you’re applying it.

Used as either a moisturiser or primer, reviewers are obsessed with how smooth the No7 primer makes their skin look.

Although selling at £16.15, Boots is currently running an online offer allowing customers to save up to 20% on selected No7 products, with the primer included in the offer. There is also another offer running alongside it that allows you to buy one No7 product and get your second half price, so if you’ve been debating giving some of their products a try, or need to stock up on some of your favourites, now might be the perfect opportunity.

Not everyone was a fan of the product, noting that the consistency is quite thin, with one reviewer saying: “Not over enamoured with this. It’s quite thin and for £16.50 the tube is not very big. I have been using one from Avon which is a bigger tube, half the price and is a thicker consistency. Thought I would give the no 7 a try but won’t bother again!!”. However, plenty of other buyers were thrilled with it, saying the 30ml tube lasts them a long time.

One five star reviewer said: “I have used this for 3 years and love it! Certainly leaves your skin looking good and does smudge some lines. I apply on top of sun block or moisturiser, then use skin illuminator, a little concealer where necessary and a little foundation. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and feels comfortable. A tube lasts a few months.” whilst another gushed over how long it makes their makeup last, writing: “love this stuff!! always had problems with make up disappearing before the end of the day, this stuff keeps it on all day!”
