We were treated to so many gorgeous Golden Globes beauty looks this week that we’re struggling to decide which one we love the most. There was a lot of competition, with stand-outs including Jennifer Coolidge, Angela Bassett, Jenna Ortega and Ana de Armas, but we have to give a special shout-out to Margot Robbie.

The Wolf of Wall Street actress never fails to impress on the red carpet, but she looked nothing short of radiant on Tuesday night. With the perfect shade of pink blush, matching rosy eyeshadow, a lip colour to die for and chic, minimal eye make-up, Margot gave us all of the spring feels.

In fact, when pictures of Margot’s Golden Globes look made their way to Instagram, hundreds of commenters started asking if anyone knew what shade of lipstick Margot was wearing, and what product was behind that baby pink blush.

Margot looked pretty in pink at the Golden Globes

Most of the time, with actresses as famous as Margot, we never get to find out what beauty products were used on them, but we’ve just been given the full details courtesy of her make-up artist Pati Dubroff.

Pati, who is a Chanel Beauty ambassador, explains that she used not one but two shades of lipsticks on the actress to give her a customised look. “First, I applied the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in Intuitive [£35 here] as a base coat. Then I wanted to introduce some kind of pinkness to her lips, so I used the Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in Éternelle [£35 here] for its cool pink tone colour on top of the first layer,” Pati explains in a press release.

She also adds: “I pushed the colour onto the centre of the lip, so it blossomed out with the rosier tone. It’s about using two shades that don’t necessarily seem to belong together to create a colour that belongs.”

As for the blush, we can see in a snap posted to Pati’s Instagram grid that she used Chanel’s Lip & Cheek Balm in Vital Beige, £38 here. We wonder if the make-up artist added a bit of Chanel’s Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Glacier, £38 here, on top, as the pink matches perfectly with Margot’s red carpet colour.

We’ll be using our whole January paycheck at the Chanel counter, then!
