We’re almost definitely not the only ones going through a bit of an obsession with Maya Jama at the moment. The presenter has been serving look after look on Love Island, and we’re eagerly keeping up with any beauty updates she gives us on her Instagram in a bid to get some insider tips for ourselves.

This week, the 28 year old is sharing a look at a brand new hair transformation that might just prompt us to book a haircut of our own. Maya debuted the look on ITV2’s Aftersun after uploading a few snaps of the makeover process to her Instagram Stories.

“And it don’t stop,” she captioned the first Story of the series.

The snap shows Maya sitting in a glam room getting her make-up applied by a pro. In front of her on the table lies bunches of hair extensions, ready to be fitted. It also looks like she’s wearing a pair of Hydrogel Eye Masks from her own beauty brand, MIJ.

The subsequent Stories show the final result of Maya’s time in the glam room. The star is seen in the clips looking incredible with long and very glossy hair featuring a new fringe. Any die-hard Maya followers will also recognise this fringe as “Trish” – the name the presenter gives to her look whenever she decides temporarily add in a fringe with hair extensions.

Maya finished the Instagram series by comparing her new hairstyle to one she wore back in 2011 when she was just 16. One of her pals posted the snap with the caption: “@mayajama and her ‘Tringe’ in 2011”.

Maya regrammed the snap, adding a note saying “younger days”. We can tell by the mid-2000s fashion that the star is younger in the image, but other than that, there’s no real difference in her look. If her unchanged appearance isn’t enough to get you clicking “add to cart” on all of her MIJ skincare products, we don’t know what is!

On the subject of Maya and her beauty regime, we’re also keen to book in for a treatment she’s been having to get skin-ready for her Love Island appearances: Aquatight facials at Shane Cooper in London. The treatment costs £95 per session and uses a three-step process to leave the skin glowing.
