Our Michelle Keegan mania isn’t going anywhere any time soon, and with a whole host of talk shows and appearances following the success of Fool Me Once, it seems we’ll be blessed with her chic wardrobe and effortless glam for the foreseeable future – not that you’ll ever catch us complaining.

One of her most recent appearances was on the Graham Norton Show, which saw Michelle looking stunning in a chic black dress and glossy side-swept hair, with her makeup the perfect example of the soft glamour beauty trend that’s set to dominate 2024.

The understated makeup look strikes just the right balance of natural-looking and glowy whilst still having a little something extra about it, and in Michelle’s case, that extra something was a golden glittery eyeshadow.

For anyone hoping to copy Michelle’s soft golden glam then you’re in luck, because her makeup artist Krystal Dawn shared all the details of the products she used to create the look on her Instagram page.

As well as revealing the secret to her glowing complexion – a combination of Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Cream and Face Base and NARS’ Longwear Radiance Foundation and Creamy Concealer – Krystal also shared that the hero product behind her glittery gold eyeshadow was a Bobbi Brown Cream Eyeshadow in shade Beach Bronze.

However, Krystal also shared that if you want to get the same look, her recommended alternative is the Trinny London Eye2Eye Shadow in the shade Victory, £18 here, which is a neutral antique gold colour.

Just like the no-longer-available Bobbi Brown one, Trinny London’s eyeshadow has a creamy consistency that applies smoothly and can be blended easily using either a brush or your fingers.

It’s also perfect for layering, so you can have a subtle sweep of glitter or build it up for a more intense look. You can even blend it with other shadows to create your own unique shade.

The finished eye makeup gave Michelle's soft glam look a golden glow

In Michelle’s case, the creamy glitter was blended with shades from Charlotte Tilbury’s Queen of Glow palette, £45 here, and Pat McGrath Labs Blitz Astral palette, £55 here, both of which contain bronze and golden hues to complement the glittery cream shadow perfectly.

Krystal finished off her eye look with a sharp winged line using bPerfect’s Potted Gelousy Black Gel Liner, £12.95 here, and a pair of Eyecha Eco Blossom False Lashes, £7.99 here.

We suspect we’ll be seeing this look replicated everywhere soon, so keep your (gold shimmery) eyes peeled!
