It’s officially summer holiday season, and for those lucky enough to be jetting off somewhere soon, Molly-Mae has shared the secret to her flawless airport makeup.

Although some people prefer to travel makeup free, nailing an easy airport makeup routine can help you get in the holiday mood, and Molly-Mae’s beauty look couldn’t be easier to recreate.

The influencer shared her go-to products for creating her airport makeup routine on her YouTube channel as she prepared to jet off to Nice, France, for work with Pretty Little Thing. Using products from Look Fantastic, her beauty haul contained plenty of bargain items to help achieve the dewy, fresh faced look.

Although Molly-Mae admitted she “never ever” wears makeup to the airport, she had some extra time before her afternoon flight so decided to break with tradition and do a glam look for flying.

Molly-Mae looked fresh and radiant ready for her trip to Nice

The former Love Island star started her beauty routine with her lips, applying ESPA Nourishing Lip Treatment, £21 here, as her lips are “as dry as the Sahara Desert”, with the product helping to stop lips from drying out whilst travelling. The ESPA Nourishing Lip Treatment contains Indian gentian which helps to smooth chapped lips, while hyaluronic acid and konjac root work to plump them up and boost moisture, minimising the appearance of fine lines around the lips.

When travelling, looking after your skin is important. The recycled air on flights, or harsh aircon or heating on trains and in cars can dry your skin out and cause breakouts, so it’s always best to make sure you stick to your skincare routine helps give you a healthy base for your makeup.

Molly-Mae uses the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

Moisturiser is an absolute must when you have a day of travelling ahead of you, so to help give herself a fresh, dewy look, Molly-Mae prepped her skin with the MAC Cosmetics Strobe Dewy Skin Tinted Moisturiser in Medium 2, £30 here, to add a subtle glow to her skin and work as a base for her makeup.

After preparing her skin, Molly-Mae adds the Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer from Laura Mercier, £25 here, then used a Trigwell Powder Puff, £15 for two here, to apply her Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder, £36.50 here, which has become something of a cult product amongst beauty fans as it helps to set your makeup and keep it firmly in place.

With her base in place, Molly-Mae moved onto her cheeks, giving herself a rosy glow with the NARS The Multiple Orgasm Blusher, £30 here, which she applied to the apples of her cheeks to give her a fresh-faced glow.

To add some definition, she used Urban Decay Beach Bronzer, £24 here, on her cheeks, before also adding some of the product to the crease in her eye socket, saying: “I always, always, always use bronzer for my eyeshadow. I don’t think I’ve ever used anything else, on myself in years.” Using your bronzer as eyeshadow is a great way to create some easy cohesion to your makeup look and keeps your glow looking natural.

Molly-Mae is known for her thick, fluffy brows, and she revealed she uses the Benefit 24 Hour Brow SetterClear Brow Gel, £24.50 here, calling it her ‘desert island’ beauty item that she can’t live without.

To finish off her easy airport look, she added some Benefit BadGal Bang Volumising Mascara, £25.50 here, to make her lashes stand out, although Molly-Mae admitted she was in ‘desperate need’ of a LVL Lash Lift to make her lashes look longer and thicker without the need for mascara.

The finished look was a fresh, glowy, natural look that’s absolutely perfect for travelling in, with minimal products required!
