Maria Nevirchak entered the nail industry immediately after she finished school, initially hoping to pursue a different career after her 18th birthday. However, she quickly found herself becoming immersed in the world of nails.
“The more I delved into the profession, the less I felt the need to switch paths,” she remembers. “I haven’t looked back since.”

Beginning her training in Ukraine, Maria then relocated to London where she had to complete her training once again from scratch. Despite the setback, she was soon able to establish a client base for herself at Nevirchak Studio and began entering competitions.
“I find inspiration in the work of other nail artists, particularly on Pinterest, as well as in various forms of art displayed on walls,” Maria shares. “I admire top nail artists who push the boundaries of creativity with innovative designs, whose dedication and passion for the craft inspire me to continually improve on my skills and explore new techniques.”
“My signature nail style involves a creative approach to nail design, incorporating various techniques and materials,” she explains. “I enjoy experimenting with colours, textures, and decorative elements to create unique and personalised designs for my clients. As for my favourite products, I prefer using gel polishes and nail art accessories to achieve the best results. I believe that investing in good, high-quality products is crucial for achieving long-lasting and visually stunning manicures.
“The nail industry is constantly evolving, with new trends and techniques emerging all the time. It’s important for me to stay up to date with the latest developments by attending industry events, networking with other professionals, and continuously learning and improving my skills.”

“An average day in my nail life involves welcoming clients, discussing their preferences and desired designs, and providing a range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements,” Maria reveals. “I also spend time researching new trends, practicing new techniques, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
“Looking ahead, my next career steps include expanding my client base and further honing my skills by attending advanced training courses and workshops. I also hope to participate in more competitions to showcase my talent on a larger platform. Ultimately, my goal is to become a highly sought-after nail artist known for creating unique and stunning nail designs.”
Participating in the 2023 Nailympia competition, Maria cites the event as the highlight of her career so far. “It was exciting and challenging, and allowed me to showcase my skills while competing alongside some of the best nail artists in the industry.
“Although I didn’t win the competition, the experience itself was invaluable, and it motivated me to continue pushing myself and striving for excellence.”
“What I love most about working in the nail industry is the ability to express my creativity and bring joy to my clients through my art. I enjoy the process of transforming nails into miniature works of art and witnessing the happiness it brings to people. The connections I form with my clients and the satisfaction of seeing their confidence boosted by my work is truly rewarding.
“Overall, I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunities and experiences that the nail industry has provided me,” Maria smiles. “It’s a profession that allows me to combine my creativity with my love for making people feel beautiful and confident. I’m excited to continue growing in this field and see where my career takes me in the future.”
