In the pursuit of ultra-shiny, a-lister worthy hair, plenty of people have turned to Olaplex’s haircare products, with celebrity hairstylists swearing by them for helping their clients maintain healthy, glossy hair.
Although Olaplex treatments have been given the professional seal of approval, they don’t come cheap, with the cult-favourite Bonding Oil costing £28 here, for 30ml.
Thankfully there have been more and more dupes for the celeb-approved products hitting the shelves, with companies like Aldi creating their own version at just a fraction of the cost.
High street giant Primark is the latest shop to offer a budget-friendly version of the product, as it launches its PS…Pro Bond Pro-Repair range, which includes three haircare formulas designed to help you get the a-lister glossy locks without breaking the bank.
The four products are designed to help repair and hydrate dry and damaged hair to not only make it look and feel shinier and softer, but to also work from inside the hair strand to repair breakage and protect it from future damage.
The new Primark PS…Pro Bond Pro-Repair range includes a Pre-Shampoo Treatment, £4.50, an Intensive Moisture Hair Mark, which costs £2.50 for a 25ml bottle or £4.50 for a 100ml bottle, and a Styling Hair Oil for just £4.50.
The Styling Hair Oil is an ideal dupe for the Olaplex Bonding Oil, and you can save yourself £27 in the process. Primark’s version helps to replenish dry hair and hydrate it, whilst repairing broken bonds and sealing damaged hair cuticles and split ends, which leaves your hair looking smoother and shinier.
It’s also packed full of sunflower oil, moringa oil and vitamin E, which all provide the scalp and hair which adds moisture and nutrients, so your hair is protected from further damage.
Also similar to Olaplex’s No.3Hair Perfector, £28 here, Primark’s Ps…Pre-Shampoo Treatment works to protect, strengthen and repair damaged hair. Formulated with a repairing bond active to protect, repair, and strengthen damaged hair, the repairing bond also protects existing disulphide hair bonds, well as reconnecting broken bonds caused by excessive bleaching, over-treatment, and heat styling.
Finally the Intensive Moisture Hair Mark, which costs just £2.50 for a 25ml bottle or £4.50 for a 100ml bottle, is a great alternative to Olaplex’s No.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask, £28 here. Primark’s own version is formulated with a repairing bond active to help repair damaged hair.
The addition of avocado oil and hyaluronic acid helps to bring moisture back into the hair and scalp and keep frizz at bay, whilst soothing aloe vera also reduces scalp irritation, making this a must-have for happier, stronger hair. The 25ml bottle is designed for single use, whilst the 100ml bottle is ideal for multiple uses.
The Primark PS…Pro Bond Pro-Repair range is now available in Primark stores nationwide.
