And this week one of our star picks is a face cream with loads of five-star reviews on the Boots website. Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Skin Defence Daily Moisturiser usually costs £17 for a 75ml tube but for one day only, Tuesday 9 April, it's slashed down to – you've guessed it – £10.

As its name suggests, the hero element of this day cream is vitamin C, one of dermatologists' must-have skincare ingredients that works to brighten skin, fade pigmentation and protect against daily environmental aggressors. You'll also find another antioxidant, ferulic acid (which partners well with vitamin C), in this lightweight moisturiser, plus hydrating hyaluronic acid.
Altogether this makes it the perfect day cream for everyday use (just make sure that you follow with one of the best face SPFs if you're using it in the morning) – and all for a tenner.
And Boots shoppers clearly agree, judging by the number of four and five star reviews this Super Facialist cream has collected online.
"The main reason I have to review it though is that it has worked really well on my frown lines, like I’ve never been more impressed with the results of a face cream and my skin is really glowing too," wrote one fan. "I’m a vitamin C convert for sure! My skin can be quite sensitive but after two weeks using this product, it’s seems to be ok. I’ve found my perfect day cream."
