Beauty fans are going wild for a new £17.50 product that promises to enhance your pout for a "juicy" look. Perfect for those not wanting to go anywhere near needles, the Huda Beauty Faux Filler Extra Shine Lip Gloss is designed to plump, smooth and blur fine lines, while providing multi-dimensional shine.

Active ingredients like vitamin E, vegan collagen and plant-derived melted waxes create a cushion-like texture. Best of all, this formula doesn't give a tingling sensation that some lip plumpers tend to, so you can expect instant volume without any irritation.

The newly-launched makeup buy is Huda Beauty's first-ever lip gloss and you can purchase it at Boots. Available in stores and online, it has earned an incredible average rating of 4.8 from 834 reviews. There are seven gorgeous colours to choose from – including pink, brown and clear.

Huda Kattan, CEO of Huda Beauty, said: "I love full, volumized, glossy lips, and our FAUX FILLER Extra Shine Lip Gloss is so glossy it's distracting! Making your lips the focus, this gloss gives a lip filler effect without invasive treatments or the lip-tingling sensation of lip-plumping glosses. I'm obsessed with the ultra-shiny, mirror-like finish that instantly gives fuller-looking juicy lips.

"I've been loving lip cuffing for a while, and this gloss makes the technique extra fire. I use Lip Contour 2.0 in Rich Brown to cuff the outer edges of the lips and blend it out. Then I link it with Warm Brown to line and define the lips and Cupid's bow before setting with our Easy Bake Loose Setting Powder, so it lasts all day. Finally, I apply our FAUX FILLER Gloss in the shade 'Glassy' for the poutiest, juiciest lip combo!"

Huda Beauty's new glosses can be perfectly matched with the Lip Contour 2.0 pencils

Over on the Boots website, many shoppers have claimed to have received "perfect" results after trying the Huda Beauty gloss. One wrote: "The shiniest gloss I've ever tried! And without even a hint of stickiness! The gloss plumped out the fine lines in my lips without any tingling or spicy sensation. Really beautifully pigmented too!"

Another added: "The plush, cushiony texture glides over lips like silk, while the faux filler complex helps to blur and fill in fine lines and imperfections. My pout looks significantly fuller and more voluptuous with just one swipe. Yet the formula is never sticky or gloopy feeling. It's a lip plumping and smoothing game-changer!"

Huda Kattan recently took to social media to share the product

A third wrote: "This lip gloss is sooo hydrating. Not so much of a plumping gloss as non tingling and doesn’t really make the lips look bigger but it does glide on seamlessly and fills all the creases like a filler. I tried the shade Coco which is gorgeous!"

However a few people had found the product too sticky, as one reviewer said: "Unfortunately, I find it a tad too sticky and did not have the plumping effect I was looking forward to. That being said, I think it will be a nice lip gloss to use over lipstick that may be satin/matte and you’d like a bit of sparkle."

A second comment on the stickiness too, saying: "Once I opened the lipgloss I noticed the gloss seemed sticky. I applied the gloss to my lips and it was very sticky and my lips almost stuck to glasses and cups that I tried to drink from."

The Faux Filler Extra Shine Lip Gloss comes in the following shades:

  • Glassy
  • Bombshell
  • Foxy
  • Coco
  • Honey
  • Posh
  • Sugar baby

A great alternative is Charlotte Tilbury's new Pillow Talk Big Lip Plumpgasm, which comes in two stunning shades and claims to provide an instant plumping effect. It costs £27 at, while Amazon has a range of products at different price points.
