SpaceNK shoppers can get a free Maison Margiela perfume when they buy the brand's 'delightful' Coffee Break from the REPLICA range. The REPLICA range is inspired by 'timeless experiences' and aims to provoke 'familiar but forgotten memories'.
Coffee Break is inspired by a creamy coffee break in Stockholm, in the year 2007 to be specific, and works for both men and women. It was first launched in 2019 with Jacques Cavallier working as the nose. Jacques is a master perfumer known for his work on the Fenty perfume, 40 Louis Vuitton scents and the Jean Paul Gaultier Classique range.
It opens up with surprising notes of pepper, orange blossom and patchouli. The heart notes are where the name starts to make sense. There's coffee and milk alongside tonka bean which sweetens it up. Siam Benzoin (similar to vanilla), woody Cypriol oil and lavender are also present at this level.

The base makes it a great date night perfume. The combination of vanilla, cedar and vetiver are quite alluring and likely to bring your date in to try and get a stronger sniff.
It's brought in an average rating of 4.6 out of five stars from over 110 reviews on SpaceNK. One shopper said: "I was really surprised of how much I loved this fragrance, as I am usually more into sweeter perfumes. It smells really fresh and invigorating. My partner love it as well. Definitely will repurchase."
A second penned: "This scent is absolutely delightful. It's a harmonious blend of freshness and creaminess, reminiscent of a cozy autumn morning with a latte. The lavender and vanilla notes complement each other beautifully, creating a familiar yet invigorating aroma. It strikes a perfect balance between masculinity and femininity, and its longevity is impressive without being overpowering. Ideal for daytime wear or intimate evening occasions, where you want to draw someone closer with its alluring scent."
A third wrote: "This is a brilliant scent. It's both fresh and creamy, like a morning latte in autumn. The lavender is present but not overpowering and contrasts wonderfully with the vanilla notes. It's both familiar and fresh, I can't work it out, but in a really lovely way. Not too masculine or too feminine. It lasts well for an EDT but isn't cloying. Perfect for daytime or intimate evening dates when you don't want your date running away for fresh air, but instead to get a bit closer as time progresses."
A fourth added: "Just one spray of this perfume and I'm transported to a nice cafe, thinking of a chill, slow morning. The scent could be a bit more long lasting, bit I have my ways of keeping it last longer, although I would prefer a bit more powerful scent. It opens up slightly fresh and with a burst of coffee, dries down creamy vanilla. Could one ask for more?"
But one wasn't impressed, adding: " Does definitely remind me of a coffee shop scent, but I'm not sure that's how I really enjoy smelling all day."
One way to make your perfume last longer is apply it immediately after using a neutral moisturiser and to use it on your wrists, inner elbows, the back of your neck and behind your knees. If you're after a stronger coffee scent then Café Rose by Tom Ford is a great option – although it is more expensive.
