When it comes to your children’s hair, parents know all too well how tricky it can be to keep their little ones’ locks knot-free. From mysterious sticky substances to tangles that come with playtime, it can feel like an uphill battle to keep their hair silky smooth.

However Stacey Solomon has been sharing her go-to haircare products that not only detangle and tame wild locks but help keep curls damage-free and soft – and there’s no reason you can’t use them on your own hair too. One product in particular that she shared her love for comes from fellow celeb Rochelle Humes’ brand My Little Coco, as she raved about the Perfect Peach Detangling Water, £6.25 here.

Posting on her Instagram stories, Stacey shared a snap of the Detangling Water, writing: “This My Little Coco detangling water is so good”, tagging Rochelle and the brand in the post.

The post-wash spray is enriched with organic coconut oil to nourish and hydrate hair, leaving it soft to the touch and discouraging tangles from forming. It also has a gorgeous peachy scent, with ingredients that are gentle enough to be used on newborns, babies and children (and you, of course!).

The spray couldn’t be easier to use; just shake well then spritz it over damp hair after washing. Then gently brush or comb through your little one’s locks to evenly disperse it – no rinsing or heat drying necessary.

In the same post, Stacey also shared her go-to shampoo and conditioner for curly hair, revealing that she uses the We Are Paradoxx curly hair shampoo and conditioner to help restore and retain her kids’ natural curls. The brand has a full Mini Humans range with products specially designed for little ones, including Stacey’s go-to Curl Conditioner, £10 here.

You can also get the Mini Humans Curly Hair Cuties Set, £29.97 here, which contains the shampoo and wash, conditioner and bubble bath. If you want to try out the grown up version for yourself, We Are Paradoxx’s Repair Shampoo, £18 here, and Repair 3-in-1 Conditioner, also £18 here, to help boost your locks.

Curly hair often tends to be drier and more coarse than other hair types which makes it more prone to breakage and tangling, so keeping on top of your curly hair routine is essential no matter your age. Using the right tools can also keep untangling as painless as possible, so something like Hair Gain’s wide tooth comb, £11.95 here, is ideal for undoing knots and combing products through hair – even on fidgety children!
