Irish reality star Vogue Williams looks incredible as she shows off her new hair transformation to her one million Instagram followers.
In a reel she shared on Tuesday, Vogue posed for the video to show off her new look as she ditches her short honey blonde locks in favour of some extra long extensions and a new ashy mushroom shade of ‘bronde’ – a blonde and brunette hybrid.
In her caption, Vogue said: “New hurrrrrrrrrr!!!! I needed a change so @hadleyyatessalon and @georginahamiltonhopkinshair worked their magic. I’m now a long haired brunette and loving it!”
Although her followers were a big fan of the new colour on Vogue, they couldn’t help but point out one obvious detail; “Girl, you still blonde. Love it that little bit darker though” said one follower, whilst another agreed: “Sorry but that’s not brunette! but still it’s beautiful.”
Although not what would technically be classed as a brunette shade, Vogue’s new ‘bronde’ colour has hints of the darker tone to it, taking it from a classic blonde to a more unique ashy, mushroom-esque hue. The sections framing her face are still in her signature bright blonde shade, which helps brighten her face and gives it some depth, whilst the top of her hair has plenty of natural looking highlights.
The ends are closer to a traditional brunette colour, and the darker ends and lighter crown give an unusual reverse ombre effect that looks amazing with Vogue’s complexion. Although her followers weren’t convinced by Vogue’s brunette claims, a quick look at the salon behind the transformation’s Instagram showed a much more brunette-looking shade.
Hadley Yates salon in London shared a reel that showed the process of switching up Vogue’s look, and shows a much more brown toned caramel colour, as well as the addition of extensions for both length and volume, with Vogue’s ‘before’ hair stopping just past her shoulders.
With her hair styled in big, bouncy blow dried curls, Vogue was channelling her inner supermodel, with one follower commenting: “It’s giving Rosie Huntington whiteley and I’m OBSESSED”, and we have to agree the Irish influencer’s locks do look strikingly similar to the model’s signature blonde tresses.
A new season is the perfect time to try out a new trend, especially if you’re like Vogue and have had the same hair colour or style for years, and this transformation shows you don’t need to go for something completely different and dramatic to make an impact. Although her followers are still not quite convinced she’s ditched the blonde team, there’s no denying that the new shade and thicker, longer extensions look amazing on Vogue.
