New for 2023, Cultural Style Week has announced a fundraising initiative, allowing participants to support charities, Refugee Action and Refugee Education UK. “An important element of cultural style is about forging connections with heritage and ancestry. That’s why we felt an acute need to support those who have been uprooted from their homes and must create new lives in a different country,” comments Candy-Ellie Graham, Cultural Style Week founder.
“Our 2023 charity partners, Refugee Action and Refugee Education UK, carry out amazing work to help people in these circumstances. We are asking people to wear their heritage and donate £1 to these charities,” she continues. Schools, employers, employees, community groups and potential event partners are all encouraged to get involved. Donations can be made here.
