Ever wondered what to wear or how to do your hair for a Royal engagement with the Princess of Wales? Zara McDermott has got you covered.

The former Made in Chelsea star showed off her stunning new money-piece hairstyle during a meeting with Kate Middleton, and went for an effortlessly chic ensemble for the important occasion.

The documentary maker visited the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust in Bath as part of the Princess of Wales’ Shaping Us campaign on Wednesday during Mental Health Awareness Week to learn more about the mental health struggles children are facing at school.

In several behind the scenes snaps from her visit, Zara looks radiant as she debuts her new lightened hairstyle. Whilst the rest of her hair remains her usual dark blonde colour, her front sections have been noticeably lightened in two thick strands at the front known as money pieces.

Zara looks effortlessly chic in a denim jumpsuit

The style has been a huge trend over the last year, with some people choosing to do a more subtle version of it by lightening their blonde hair even further for those sections, like Zara, whilst others have been bleaching the front sections of their dark locks for a dramatic contrasting effect, with some people even opting to dye their newly blonde sections a bold colour like pink or blue.

To show off her new style, Zara’s hair was styled into loose, oversized curls that helped blend her lighter sections into the rest of her hair and gave her a relaxed and stylish look for the important day. The rest of her hair was coloured with subtle darker blonde roots and lighter ends in a natural-looking balayage style.

For her outfit, Zara chose a dark blue denim jumpsuit with contrasting white stitching around the hems and seams, and fastened with a denim belt tied in a bow at the waist. The jumpsuit also featured a sharp pointed collar and two breast pockets, each finished with white stitching, which added to her effortlessly cool and sophisticated look.

She finished off her look with soft, glowy makeup, including some light bronzer, a subtle smokey eye and a nude lip, whilst she followed the Princess’ lead and stuck to royal protocol with a bare glossy finish on her nails.
