It may seem like every week a new celebrity beauty line launches, but this is one we're really excited about. After first teasing about a potential haircare brand on Instagram, Beyoncé has finally launched Cécred, a collection of lust-worthy products that strengthen and care for all hair types – and we've got all the details.

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has partnered up with scientists and hair experts – including her mum, hairdresser Tina Knowles – to launch a luxe-looking collection of products inspired by haircare rituals from around the world, designed to really deliver results. While suitable to all hair types, Cécred was especially created with the needs of Black and textured hair in mind.

"As a Black founder, it was important to me to concentrate on where I saw the greatest need for healthy haircare and to place scientific innovation and product performance above all else," Beyoncé says. "We started by prioritising the needs of textured hair like mine, along with other types and textures that need more moisture and strength.

"My entire life and career, I’ve worn my hair in so many different ways: natural, flat-ironed, braids, coloured, weaves, wigs. I want everyone to have the freedom to express their hair in ways that make them feel good, so I began by creating the essentials for hair and scalp health.”

Cécred may have only just launched but it seems like it already has another celebrity fan. In an Instagram story, Maya Jama shared her excitement at receiving a PR package of the products.

"Got sent Beyoncé new hair line & I'm mad excited to try the rice water stuff!" she wrote in the post. "All gifting arrived from my management so it's like Christmas today."
