When you’re in the hallowed set of wives and girlfriends of the England World Cup football team, it’s almost considered a contractual obligation to share snaps of yourself looking gorge and stylish in sunny places.
Jack Grealish's girlfriend Sasha Attwood has been taking this responsibility seriously and posted a series of Instagram pictures that made us think fondly of warmer climes, as we debate whether we can afford to turn on the heating today or not. She shared the pics with the words “Golden hour”, referring to that magical time of day a little before dusk when the sunlight warms up and everything looks perfect.
And the model looked stunning in the pictures as she lounged on what looks like a Doha balcony, enjoying the last of the day’s sunshine. Wearing tiny, light denim shorts and a white crop top, the outfit was finished with a round collar bouclé blazer with a hint of 1990s Chanel about it. Sasha tagged the blazer from Lipsy London, £68 here.
Overall, we are just a weeny bit jealous of her sun-kissed skin, impeccable casual-elegance get up and of course, the crowning glory of any WAG – her sleek picture perfect barnet, which either indicates that the WAGs have a team of stylists working behind the scenes, or that she has some top level blow drying skill.
Of course, Sasha needs to keep her game up when it comes to having on point hair, since boyfriend Jack has probably the most famous ’do on the pitch. His trademark curtains are more than a little reminiscent of David Beckham in his 1990s appearances for Manchester United and England (and, let’s face it, Kiera Knightley back when she was being inspired by Golden Balls too – check out the comparison here).
We’ve heard Jack favours Moroccanoil Treatment Original, £13.45 here, to get his luscious locks smooth and shiny, finished with a Schwarzkopf got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Vegan Hairspray, £5 here. It’s unlikely that Sasha needs the “screaming hold” advertised from this particular hairspray for her match days, which after all are rather less energetic than Jack’s, even on days when the lads score six times. But we’d be willing to bet they’ve both shared that Moroccanoil to achieve their respective, uh, hair goals.
